10 Old Bailey is a substantial commercial development adjoining the Central Criminal Court, more familiarly known as the Old Bailey, in the heart of London. It provides a range of office space and is consistently ranked in among the City of London’s top ‘trophy assets’.
The client recognised, and we agreed, that the existing fit out on the Ground and Lower Ground floors at 10 Old Bailey no longer reflected contemporary thinking or met the evolving requirements of modern workplaces. Their vision was to create sophisticated, neutral spaces that could be effortlessly adapted to suit the diverse needs of prospective tenants, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

In response, we developed a carefully considered design that maximised the natural light available from external windows and the building’s central atrium, enhancing the sense of openness and connectivity throughout the space. Our approach focused on creating an environment that fosters productivity, collaboration, and flexibility, ensuring that each area could be tailored to accommodate a variety of working styles.
Following our extensive Cat A+ refurbishment, both floors now provide multifunctional spaces designed to support the dynamic nature of today’s businesses. These include huddle rooms for informal discussions, larger meeting rooms and boardrooms for executive meetings, and additional collaboration spaces that encourage interaction and innovation. The result is a workplace that seamlessly blends practicality with contemporary design, offering an inviting and versatile space for tenants seeking a modern, high-quality office environment
